Applying syndemic/core group theory to improve integrated prevention and service delivery for HCV, HIV and related epidemics

The  aim of this study is to further sexually transmitted infections and blood borne infections (STIBBI) prevention by applying concepts of core groups and syndemic theory to improve integration and delivery of health services across these epidemics.

Specific objectives:

1) describe the STIBBI syndemics and identify core groups in BC

2) based on core groups design improved STIBBI health services

3) investigate the impact of new knowledge on integrated service delivery
